  - You MUST license your dog - ITS THE LAW!
  - License dog at four months
  - Proof of rabies vaccination is required 
  - Spay/Neuter Certificate if applicable

  - A license is required in order to hunt/fish in New York State 
  - Photo identification is necessary to obtain sporting and or bowhunter and or trapper license
  - A hunters education certificate is necessary for first time licenses
Leftover DMP's:
  • Will be available commencing on November 1st on a first come basis until optimum management in each unit
  • Hunters may receive up to 2 additional DMP’S in available WMU’S 
  • No applications will be accepted via phone, mail or on line 
  • Applicants that are exempt or hunters who previously applied this year, will not be charged 
  • For others there is a non-refundable $10 application fee for leftover DMP’S 
  • Applications for leftovers will not affect any preference points 
  • DMP’S are only valid for antlerless deer in the WMU for which they are issued

  - Must have form filled out by doctor if first time applicant or for temporary renewal 
  - If renewing, your expired permit must be returned

Office Hours: Monday - Friday 9-3:30 PM (exceptions: holidays)

  -  If 4 or more applicants applying, an appointment must be made by calling (716) 686-3423.  Solicitors Permits must be requested in person.
  -  Cost is $100.00 for application.  Picture is required for the permit.  Pictures can be done in the Clerk’s office for $10.00.
  -  A background police check is also required and is paid at the police department.  The cost is $10.00.  Police checks from other municipalities are NOT acceptable.  Must be from our police department.
 - Must be 50 feet away from right-of-way.

 -  If selling at a business, location must be zoned CM - General Commercial District and must have written permission of property owner(s) which must be attached to the application

Passport Applications(New Applicants ONLY) are accepted from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily and 9:00 AM to 5:15 PM on the first and third Wednesday of each month. (716)686-3983 or (716)686-7431

 When applying for a passport, you will need to bring:
  - Certified Birth Certificate with raised seal and lists both parents names
  - Drivers licence
  - Completed application form
  - One (1) Check or Money Order for each application for the exact cost of the passport
  - Processing fees and photo fees can be paid by cash, check or charge.

When completing the application:
  - Use BLACK INK only
  - If you make a mistake when completing the application, DO NOT use whiteout or scribble; simply draw a single line through and continue
  - Applicant must be present when submitting an application
  - If the applicant is Under 16 years of age, both parents MUST BE present with applicant 

RENEWAL APPLICATIONS are NOT accepted by this office; however we can take your new passport photo- $10 fee

In 2006, the Town of Cheektowaga abolished the full time position of the Tax Receiver.  Mary F. Holtz, then Town Clerk for the Town of Cheektowaga, merged the tax collection operation into the Clerk's office, streamlining many of the collections operations and saving the taxpayers of our Town a full time position's salary and benefits.  All request for Tax Information requests
