All Town Departments still have employees reporting to work and are processing paperwork, licenses, permits etc…Contact departments with specific questions. Departments located within Town Hall can accept paperwork through the Drop Box located on the Union Rd side of Town Hall.

BUILDING, PLANNING, PLUMBING & FIRE SAFETY
The Town of Cheektowaga has taken steps to provide essential services to the community by expanding its hours in the Building, Planning, Plumbing, & Fire Safety Department. In cooperation from staff with the intent to meet the directive from the Federal and State mandates we have modified our work schedule. Our department will be available to provide information to the public Monday- Friday between the hours 8:00 am until 6:00 pm. Please follow mandated orders to practice safe distancing measures during the application of essential construction services.

SENIOR CENTER and SENIOR SERVICES
The Cheektowaga Senior Center is Closed to the Public until August 10th. Staff is available by phone to answer questions and assist seniors on a case by case basis. Please call 686-3930 during business hours (M-F, 9:00am – 4:30pm).
Our Seniors Going Places Van Service is still operating, but on a very limited basis and FeedMore WNY is still running their Meals on Wheels Program from the Senior Center, Lord of Life Church and Maryvale Presbyterian Church. If you are a senior (age 60+) and are interested in the home-delivered meal program on a temporary basis to help you through this crisis, call Erie County Senior Services at 858-8526.
We know these are challenging times for the older adults in our community and we want you to know we are still here to offer support and link you with services if you need them.

All documents or payments can be submitted by mail, or left in the drop box outside Town Hall (open 24/7). Items are processed daily.
Hunting Licenses– Deer Management Permit (DMP) – available Monday, August 10th.
Death Certificates/Birth Certificates– Requests by mail or drop box are accepted see Vital Statistics for more details
Dog Licenses– payments can be mailed, dropped in the drop box (located on Town Hall) or they can be paid on line(bank service fees apply) as long as the rabies vaccinations are up-to-date at https://tocny.org/departments/town-clerk/licenses/ If the rabies are not up-to-date please contact the office at 686-3423
Handicap Permits– New applications can be left in the drop box for processing with required paperwork; for questions call 686-3423
Marriage Licenses– we are taking applications by appointment only; to schedule call 686-3982
Passport Processing has resumed (Note: NYS still has limited processing agents)
Solicitor Permits– have been suspended per Town of Cheektowaga, Executive Order
2020 Property Tax Payments– Collection is now completed. All outstanding balances can be paid to Erie County Real Property, 95 Franklin Street- Room 100, Buffalo, NY 14202.

PERMITS ISSUED IN PERSON at the FACILITIES DEPARTMENT, 500 Losson Rd
TIME: 8:00 AM TO 1:30 PM, every Wednesday and Friday
CASH OR CHECK ONLY- Proof of residency is REQUIRED
- Town Park- $50, electricity included (NO Lions Pavilion for 2020)
- Stiglmeier Park- $50 (Shelters 1-6) electricity included, $40(Shelters 7-14) NO electricity available
- Occupancy is 50 People per shelter only one shelter rental per resident
