The Cheektowaga Traffic Safety Commission is an advisory board made up of Town residents appointed by the Town Board. The Traffic Safety Commission meets the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall Building, 3301 Broadway. The Traffic Safety Commission’s role and mission is promulgated in Chapter 36 of the Town Code found in the quick links of this page. The Traffic Safety Commission offers recommendations to the Town Board regarding potential traffic impacts associated with new development, town wide pedestrian access/mobility and, parking /vehicle restrictions on Town Roads. The Traffic Safety Commission also serves as an advocate group for residents whom have particular vehicular and pedestrian traffic safety concerns within their neighborhood.
