PARK SHELTER PERMIT INFORMATION

OPENING WEEK – WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15, 2026 … Permits will be issued at the Town Park Recreation Center (Ice Rink)- 2600 Harlem Road from 7:00am-12pm. Doors will open and numbers given out PROMPTLY at 6:30am.

THURSDAY, APRIL 16, 2026 & FRIDAY, APRIL 17, 2026…Permits will be issued at the Facilities Office – 500 Losson Road from 8:00am -1:30pm.

Thereafter, shelter permits will be issued every Wednesday & Friday from 8:00am-1:30pm at the Facilities Office, 500 Losson Road. OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED FRIDAY, JUNE 19, 2026 AND FRIDAY, JULY 3, 2026

PLEASE NOTE: Some dates/shelters may be unavailable due to Town events.

Shelter permits must be obtained in person. Proof of Cheektowaga residency is required. Must be 21 to rent.

Shelter Fees: 
Cheektowaga Town Park(except the Lions Pavilion) – $75
Stiglmeier (Losson) Park – $75
Occupancy is 50 people per shelter.  Maximum 2 shelters per person/household.

The Parks & Facilities Department retains full authority for final approval and denial of shelter reservation requests.
