Scajaquada Creek Watershed Project Details

Buffalo Niagara Waterkeepers Team update on our project to create a watershed-wide Ecological Restoration Plan for the creek and invite you and your constituents to share your comments on our digital Scajaquada StoryMap!  

The goal for this plan is to serve as a resource for future decision-making by identifying areas for ecological restoration and revitalization that will improve water quality, create healthy shoreline ecosystems, and further connect residents to their local watershed. Additionally, this plan will summarize all the current and future projects along the creek to provide a comprehensive overview of how communities, municipalities and governmental agencies are already working to protect and restore Scajaquada Creek.   

Please share this Scajaquada StoryMap with the residents you serve who are living closest to the creek so they can learn more about their local watershed and provide their input on the future of this unique waterway. The first round of feedback will be accepted through March 27th.
