Chapter 201 of the Town of Cheektowaga Code REQUIRES property owners to register your Short=Term Rental with the Office of Fire Safety whether you use Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, or any other platform. If your property is listed to rent for periods of 30 days or less, you MUST register with the Town.

Fire Safety administers and enforces the Town Fire Code and NYS Fire Code.  Conducts yearly inspections of places of public assembly and locations having hazardous materials. Conducts Fire Safety Inspections tri-annually for other occupancy classifications
